I believe the Bible is the owner's manual for my life.
If I want to fix my car, I look at the owner's manual for the car. If I want to fix my life or get direction for my life, I look to the Bible. It gives me wisdom, comfort and guidance. The following are a few of my favorite verses for my life at this time, and a few which have shaped my life in the past. May they be a blessing to you as you read them.

I Thessalonians 5:17 - "Pray constantly."
Philippians 4:6-7 - "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus."
Psalm 55:22 - "Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall."
I Peter 5:7 - "Let God have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you."
Exodus 33:13 - "God, Guide me clearly along the way you want me to travel."
Psalm 25:5 - "Lead me; teach me; for you are the God who gives me salvation. I have no hope except in you."
Psalm 27:11 - "Tell me what to do, O Lord, and make it plain…."
Psalm 32:8 - "I will instruct you says the Lord and guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch your progress."
Romans 10:9 - "For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Ephesians 4:29 - "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them."
Colossians 3:8 - "Now is the time to cast off and throw away anger, hatred, cursing and dirty language."
Jeremiah 29:11 - "I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."
1 John 5:11-13 - "And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. So whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have His Son does not have life. I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life."
Philippians 1:6 - "And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in His grace until His task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns."
Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will direct your paths."
Isaiah 40:31 - "Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."
